My grandpa has all the tools to turn a log into a fine piece of art. He passed the skills to do so onto me and my dad. Dad inherited all the tools and I inherited the lake house where the woodshop is. I think I am going to get a cheap case to display the stuff in until the next time me and dad are at the lake together.

Yeah that was a different time JJ. SOME things from the past should NOT be forgotten or done away with.

I stopped at the state liquor store and picked six different double bock beers from different countries. I didn't realize until I just got another out of the fridge, but the names are epic!

Just finished wateching the remake of "The Thing." not in the same ballpark as the original.

Nope, I was disappointed in the remake. SOME remakes do ok, others really suck.

Well, not to feel happy about my pawpaw's death, but I have another house now. It is the only land, a little shy of 20 acres, on a lake in TX. The reast of the shore falls in a national forest and can never be developed. No neighbors. Ever!
