Yup, that's the one I had. And about 25 years ago I drilled and tapped a gold bead on the front of it. worked out really nice and threw slugs pretty good. 500c Pump action.

Thank you for looking and the information! There's a gun show coming up the weekend of the 9th, I might check there if I get a chance to go.

Looks like that will be a nice one, but for that price I would rather spend it on Dan's blades. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> Oh and did I mention I have enough folders to last several people several lifetimes! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" />

Don't blame you on not wanting to sell the YK. I'm gonna be that way with the 311.

As far as EDC, I carry my Sebenza classic 2k w/black micarta inserts clipped to my left front pocket. In my right front pocket, the ONLY thing in that pocket is my emerson karambit.

Every once in a while, depending on where We may be going, I will strap my CQC 7 spearpoint plain edge to the inside of my left leg at the ankle. I don't think that's overkill, just common sense. But some folks think I am weird.

There is one "Set" of knives I am particularly proud of. The Bob Kasper (and made by CRKT) Folding fighers, both the small AND large! Oh and I also have the fixed blade version with both sheaths.

They're nothing fancy, but just having all three seems special to me. Oh and they are nice, the large folder is a BEAR! The small is actually very pleasurable to carry and the fixed is "Just right"!

Oh and I also have the Crawford designed CRKT made Falcon folders, the large and small one. I like those two as well. I also have several Benchmades including 5 Balisongs (one is an original Pacific Cutlery utility model with all the pins just peened over and sticking out from the handles.)

I hear ya, it IS a big bad ole world out there. Used to you could feel safe. Not all that many places where you can totally relax any more.
