I might pick up a 311 for my brothers birthday present or the 511 but i think the 311 will work out better for him. I don't have anyone to get knives as a gift for, my 3 brothers aren't the gun and knife type even though they were all in the navy.

I don't NEED anything but would like some things, mainly a 9mm 1911 and maybe a shotgun. I know the feeling Caz the 5 inch 1911 and Ruger 45 lc i will wait and see what walks through the door, but will buy the Walther pps new since i plan to carry it for ccw. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

You going with the 9mm or 40sw? I always wanted the walther p99 but never did jump on one. I never warmed up to any of the polymer framed guns, nothing wrong with them.

I would get one for my Dad but i bought him a buck fixed blade 25 years ago and he is happy with it and his old fillet knife.

Yeah her throat is better but she still feels sick.

I got my Dad an Hen and Rooster three blade stockman pattern about 25 years ago as well, he used it until it fell apart on him. He used that knife A LOT!
