All the issues I have heard about were with the first ones released, 9mm.

I have put thousands of rounds through my G21 Gen 4 with zero issues even with the cheapest rounds I could find. I even put first the 1000 rounds through without a cleaning just to see what happens. It fired perfectly no matter what kind of junk I fed it.

Military pay is probably rough on your gun budget

Since the military pays my rent and gives food allowances, guns and kinves and other hobbies are pretty much all my pay goes to.
