I hope I don't get one of the new problem glock that seem to be coming out of the factory I believe the issues are exaggerated and mostly just with the 9mm. When you sell as many guns as Glock, even if just one in 1000 have an issue, there are still many people reporting the issues since so many were sold. Don't buy into the hype.

Glock would love you to believe its hype but its a fact. I have the personal experience to prove it with the gen 3 and gen 4 G-22's. We wouldn't be replacing coil springs and connectors on 500 new pistols if it wasn't a well documented issue.
With that said the majority work fine. But there are and have been enough problems documented that Glock has produced parts to fix the mistakes.

I based my comment not on what Glock told me, as I have read nothing from them. I based it on all the local Marines and guys I talk to at the range, but now that I think of it, only a few use 40s. It is either 9mm or 45 around here.
