That's what I was thinking. With the shirt stays we wear, there really isn't anywhere else to put it.

It looked like the ankle holster would be the only option to me.

Check out the kangaroo carry. Very discreet in nearly any uniform.

Looks cool, but in our Service C uniform our shirts are tucked in and have straps that connect to the bottom of the shirt in four points around the body and to the ankle. The shirt stays pull the shirt down keeping it tightly tucked. Getting a weapon under my shirt would take some time.

The only options I have are to either put the weapon in a pocket or on my ankle.

I wear one everyday with my uniform. Over the vest and beneath the shirt. With the LCP you can not tell its there. I have well developed pecs so if I keep it between my arm pit and pectoral muscles its invisible.

I'm too fat to carry the G-27 like that right now. When I drop a few pounds the G-27 will be hard to see in the same setup.

I am sure it would conceal nicely in my uniform, but I would have to unbutton the shirt to get to it.

Again it seems that the only (fast?)choice you have is an ankle carry in your dress uniform. Hey, at least you WILL be carrying.

Well I have hit my typical 24 hour Sunday so I am going to call it quits. Y'all have safe one and JJ, best wishes on your trip back to beautiful Sunny Kalifornia. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Good night Randy. Watch out for the zombies under your bed.

Man, I am going to be so upset when everyone gets over the zombie craze. I will be so lonely in my little zombie filled imagination.

If I need it I won't unbutton it. I will just rip them out if it has to be fast. If you have time unbuttoning it works very well. I can run our qualification course from this rig with little difficulty. I can't stand ankle holsters. They are better than nothing but not by much if you need it in a hurry. We discourage their use but we don't outright ban it.

JJ, there will ALWAYS be some of us that know you can never get rid of ALL the Zombies. There are those of us who will remain forever watchful for the outbreak, the coverup when the inevitable "Outbreak" one again rears it's ugly and infected head to try and control the masses.
