I THOUGHT what was what you were getting at. TO ME, sounds like just another crazy law made up by someone that doesn't know anything about guns/carry options. I MIGHT be wrong in this assumption but I still think it's nuts.

Randy when our ccw law went into effect for the first time it was so riddled with political bs it was a mess , but over the years with amendments and changes in the original law now it is not to bad. the govenor at the time was strongly urged by GWB to put it to law.

But hey, at least y'all got a right to carry from the state now.

Ohio stat patrol officials were against it from the start and was and still is one of our biggest hurdles.

I hear you on that, here St. Louis and Kansas City "Police Officials" were against our ccw.

Thats what they said when it went in we can change it later but the main thing was to get our foot in the door.

NOW, in Missouri you can CCW, possess fully automatic weapons AND suppressors!

One of the local PD officers wen't on a back up call on I 70 just at the edge of his jurisdiction to backup a state boy when my friend got there the OSP had his gun out and was behind the door of his car in a tactical position,, my friend asked what ya got and the officer said the man has his ccw and to get to his wallet he has to go near his weapon so i called for back up in case it went south. there is more and it does get better but you get the point.

We just got it so we can go into a restaurant that serves alcohol with our weapon aslong as we are not drinking, and that covers bars to just not eatery's , golf courses , bowling alleys , ball games and the like as long as the property is not posted.
