It is not true. Sometimes what doesn't kill you, cripples you for life. I am walking proof. The CO is a recon Marine too. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> As my shirt says "Pain is weakness leaving the body" On a different note; If one more recruit yells "Good morning Sir!" to me again, i am going to punch him.

The drill instructors make them call all Marines "sir" until they become Marines themselves when they graduate, but I still hate it. I walked by an entire platoon of recruits today and had to here "good morning sir" 80 something times in a row. The next platoon started the same thing until I said "shut the &%$# up", then in unison, they said "aye aye sir"
