I haven't tried one of the Gen 4's yet. The Gen 3 fits my hand pretty well.

I thought about the newer ones with the backstrap but first impressions... I actually wanted a flock long before I wasold enough to buy one or even held one. think it was early 90's. think i read a article in popular science or something. it back got on my radar with a particular shooting that happened... but when i held it I just could go for it.

but I have a similar quirk with the ar15. just prefer something with a .300 caliber bullet. no particular reasons why. couldn't buy an ar to save my life. enter the .300 aac and now I can't stop thinking I should buy one.
i cater to my quirks but firearms do play more of a roll as toys than tools for me.

Only glock I have fired is my one brother's 10mm. Nice gun to shoot.

If a miracle happened here and Canada allowed people to carry pistols while hunting or camping I think I would choose either a 44 mag or 45 colt.

I use an AR for varmint hunting. Praire dogs and Coyotes mostly. Mine in sub-moa at 100 yards. Plus you can lay a smack down on a bunch of praire dogs in a short amount of time if a bunch are out at the same time.

I want to use one for hog hunting. They are fairly popular for that as well.

I like the idea of the colt in .308 but I never was into the idea of an AR10 as much as I am a .300 rifle. again I have no exact purpose for the rifle but aac just stuck with me.
