Pellet guns I shot as a kid were well over 500fps
The sad thing is that was police associations that helped get these stupid laws get put in place

well that's fps and not fpe like uk. wonder if you can get away with a larger caliber doing 500 fps. maybe wouldn't make up for much but a .38 at 500 fps would do a lot more damage than .177. don't know how fast the .50's are shooting but there are a a few around.

yup I think it's like 14 fpe that will dust a squirrel and maybe a rabbit. with .22 cals here I see people making claims of low 30's. I think a .22 short is 40-60 fpe. so it seems canada is being pretty strick. but I'm constantly seeing guys here pushing the boundaries of what airguns can do. like the fa .22...
