First two rifles we bought off gunbrokers cost about $150 each to get the export permits from the US, the last one was over $300 for the paperwork

They have decent online prices too. I recommend you check them out. impact guns is the name. After 9/11 the US government has made it very difficult for US distributors to ship to Canada Even things like screws for scope mounts require a permit a scope mount permit? that's pretty crazy... If that same screw is exported as a machine screw then no export permit required They have even gone after guys on Ebay selling scopes to Canadians and shipping them up here. No problem with the Canadian government
