I have been using the 7-11 a fair amount. So far its becoming my favorite blade in the 6-9 inch range. Once I get some camping it it should cinch the spot.

How do you find the handle

I would sharpen mine if I had something other than a dremel. It is hard to move heavy tools every few years. Darn military orders.

Its still a tiny bit small for my hands but I like it a lot. It batons very well through everything I have thrown at it so far. Went through a few knots with no issues. No shock to speak of through the handle.

Can you get access to a shop at a base or is that not allowed

The small handle on my dm is the only thing I don't like about it

Is the DM handle the same as the 5-11?

I know the 5-11 was a small handle. The 7-11 handle works for me. It would be perfect if it was just a hair bigger though.
