Our troopers in this zone (our county is the entire zone) now have 3 of the new chargers as vehicles, NICE! And those tail lights are sharp! I like the way they wrap all around the back end and make a sort of loop. We've got 10 of the new Chargers here, and you're right, they're sharp. I really like the new rear end on them.

Speaking of vehicles, hows the new SUV doing? Doing pretty good. It's getting about 7-8 mpg better than the Explorer was, which is great considering gas is up to $3.89 here today.

It was $3.78 yesterday, but when I get paid it jumps up 10 cent a gallon. Grrrrr!

We're (the Deputies) are all running Tahoes now. Actually for us they are the best, most of our work is on gravel roads, we don't run traffic here, leave that up to the troopers and cities.

It's doing good to get 12-13 mpg. But since I only live 4 miles from work, I can live with it if I'm careful to not waste trips to town.

My personal opinion is that half our guys should be in SUV's, just because of the rough roads we have. I hate telling people that it'll be a while before our deputy gets there because he has to come to the office to get a 4wd.

Escape is getting 24-25 mpg. My old F150 is the gas guzzler.

The Escape gets 7-8 mpg BETTER than the Explorer, that was only getting about 17 mpg.
