If we go on a long steady drive, the truck will get up to 22 mpg. We've actually gotten just a tad bit better than that once on a steady interstate drive of about 150 miles.

But around here locally, anywhere from 17 on up depending on if we figure in a Mingo trip or not. That slow 5-10 mph speed for 3-5 hours really kills the mileage.

I've about stopped driving except for work and dr visits and such. I just can't afford the gas.

I'm not REAL fond of laying backward or forward for riding, I prefer what they call a standard bike where you sit pretty much straight up.

Something like a Honda Nighthawk or a Harley Sportster fits the bill pretty well. The one I want is a Harley Fat Bob, and it can be set up like a standard with middle controls.
