I've read y'all talking about controls before, what does middle controls mean?

Forward controls are way up on the front of the frame, so you can ride with your legs straight out. Mid controls are set up at about the rear of the gas tank (or maybe a little forward of there) and work better for people like me that have short legs.

I'm not comfortable riding with my feet out in front of me, partially because my legs are short and partially because I feel like I'm being blown backward all the time.

OK, I thought it might be something like that but the only ones I have ever seen (OR ridden) were all mid control bikes.

Cruiser bikes (Harleys, Honda Shadows, Yamaha V-Star's) are usually set up with forward controls. Standards are usually mid-controls and crotch rockets are rear controls.

I've never been to Texas. Never been west of Alabama, as far as that goes. I haven't travelled much.

I like travelling. It´s just the money and time that make things harder when travelling further destinations.

And the seat sizes in the airplanes, when you've got a wide load to put in one LOL
