Good. A little break from the normal routine. We are moving into a new office building. My new office has a window! It's the little things in life. Small victories add up.

It did. But, lucily I travel more than I don't. So most of my work time is in a vehicle with lots of windows while driving through the Rocky Mountains and desert canyons.

Sorry I'm late back to the party. Patty decided it was a good day to go to Mingo. Today we saw 3 coons, a muskrat only 8 deer and a snapping turtle just sedately walking across the road until we got out to take pics. Bet that thing had a shell a foot long! And MAN did he get mad when I hooked a cane on his shell so patty could get some pics. I had to keep dragging him back around as he was heading for the swamp! Then when we got back I watched the last of the Lord of the Rings. I just don't understand why Frodo had to leave as well.

Nice!

The closest we have to desert canyons is the Visriver canyon and then our neighbors Namibia has some awesome scenery.

Cool beans. There is a great book: Three Against the Wilderness where the family traps muskrat for their fur. Awesome book.

I dont get a lot of Lord of the Rings, but it still remains cool and good concourse evil.

I went to Hill AFB today to see the audiologist for the third time in a month. She finally ordered my new hearing aid. Old one is dead. I couldn't get the inside the canal type since my hearing has gotten to the "severe" hearing loss levels. So, I got a behind the ear one. I went with a black one with chrome accents. It is water and shock proof. It has bluetooth so I can connect it to my phone and has a blutooth remote I can plug my ipod into for wireless music. Listening to earphones while in uniform or running on a base even in civilian attire is prohibited, but I will soon have a loophole.

It also has a masking tone to make my tinnitus disappear.

This one is similar to the one I ordered except the accent on mine is chrome. I just did a quick search for the prices, the package I am getting is $1,700 <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> I never knew these things were so expensive.

Yup, glad to see they're still making movies where evil looses. Another pretty good set of movies (at least we liked them) Is The Chronicles of Narnia. There is a second one but I don't know the name of it. Ok, there's been three.

From Wikipedia:

The Chronicles of Narnia is a series of English fantasy films from Walden Media that are based on The Chronicles of Narnia, a series of novels written by C. S. Lewis. From the seven books, there have been three film adaptations so far—The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005), Prince Caspian (2008), and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010).[1]

The series revolves around the adventures of children in the fictional world of Narnia, guided by Aslan, a talking lion and the true king of Narnia. Most of the children featured were the Pevensie siblings and the prominent antagonist featured was the White Witch (sometimes known as Jadis, who came from a different world in The Magicians Nephew). While the films tried to follow the novels' traditional storyline and Christian themes, they also added deviations from the source material, including the Greek Mythology and Irish fairy tales.
