I'm glad this is my last night of this stretch. Old Grumpybutt's new schedule at work means that she's there during the day, and I can't sleep as good when she is up messing around the house.

So she has been moved to the afternoon/evening shift?

yep, working 4:30 pm to 1am.

I like it pretty well when I'm off, especially with baseball season coming up.

She's not big on baseball, and I love going to the minor league games here. Only $6 to get in, and a bunch of my buddies have season tickets.

The biggest down side is that she's home when I like to go play golf, and she tends to fuss at me when I play too much.

You'll just have to get used to a different schedule. It's rough. I know It helped a lot when we put foil on the bedroom windows. I had double tinted them, but the foil worked a lot better, and from the outside you really can't tell it's foil on the windows, almost looks like a mirror tint. You might try closing your bedroom door and getting a desk fan. I've done the fan thing for over 30 years, every night all year long.

Well I don't have to worry about that, never set foot on a golf course in my life.

I thought you might like to know I might be adopting one of two dogs.
Not sure if either will work out
The first is a seven year old female rat terrier, she is blind in one eye. The elderly lady that owns here can no longer look after her.
The other is a jack Russell cross female that is seven months old, her owners aren't sure if they are keeping her or not

One thing is that she doesn't like the bedroom windows darkened out. I'd tin foil them in a second if she wouldn't fuss about it. I want it dark and she doesn't, but only because she doesn't sleep during the day. Now that she IS sleeping during the day, I'm wondering if she'll change her tune.
