I'm really disappointed, I expected more from Dan. I mean if you can't chop with a blade that size, what good is it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Nice! I need to order one of them. I'm sure I would love it. I was let down when I saw it didn't have Mudders, but I the more I look at it, the more I realize that it's a great little knife and I'd be missing out not getting one.

What do ya mean it can't chop?

PERSONALLY I think mudders would have been a mistake on a knife this size. The mudders would have completely changed the looks and balance. The way it is, just can't be argued with. GREAT little edc. Dan should sell a couple tons of these things. If you have need of a smaller blade, and who doesn't, you need to grab one.

Just strip her down and wax her up and you'll be happy <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> (but don't say those exact words in front of your girlfriend/wife, she might not understand). <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />

Ha. Yeah. I think you may be right about the mudders. I hope the 4 has em tho. I also like that Dan took the choil away.

Now the Mudders on the 411, specially if it has a choil will look a lot more aesthetic. The disparity between the blade size and the handle size wouldn't look "Off" like it would have on the 311.
No matter WHAT we may say, the looks of a knife has a lot to do with if we will buy it or not. If it then turns out to be "Perfect" we just consider ourselves lucky.

Happy birthday Marthinus! It was my birthday just a few days ago as well. I got a few pieces of shiny INFI for myself. It always feels nice to give gifts, doesn't it?
Can't wait to see pics of what you got! Happy Birtday! Well I had some stuff shipped here to South Africa that went MIA and got word that they found it and is on its way. Just got word that one package arrived and waiting at home, another small survival kit is also on its way and then the big package that went MIA should arrive next week. So April seems to start off with a big bang! I decided that trying to stay up to date and to much forums are taking up to much time of mine. So I decided to start a list of knives from USA companies I want. Been flying through the list and now only need the Para Military2 with CTS 204P, Umnumzaan and Mnandi from the US (but those I don't need right now). Then focus on my own knife designs I want from local custom makers and start focusing on particular forums or sections of particular forums that I want to post on or have a good comunity like the Yard.

Marty, I have read good reviews on the PM2 seems to be a good blade. I DO have an Umnumzaan. Nice knife. Feels good in the hand, very robust. Not a small blade but will I expect do some heavy duty (Folder) work. I also like the steel in mine. I think it's the S30v. And of course the frame is Titanium. It's not a fast opener as it is a bit stiff but you're not buying a super slick dedicated fighter, but a robust dependable work knife.

Marty,
That's awesome! You must've been worried when it was MIA. Happy birthday to you too.
