I have a couple older kensington wireless adapters. sure they go for pretty cheap now on eBay. but that does sound like a lot to have to go through for the internet.

My sister lives almost a half-mile off the main line and they ran cable to her. I'm less than 150 yards and they won't run it to me. I can't figure out why. Even called their construction engineer out to the house and he couldn't tell me anything but they just can't do it.

Bet they would if YOU would pay for the cable.

They've tried to tell me that the signal won't run uphill. I might believe in signal degradiation over a long distance, but not for an additional 60 yards uphill.

I admit that I don't know a whole lot but I'm pretty sure electric signals aren't greatly affected by gravity.

if they where talking plumbing then I could understand. but a cable? are your lights dimmer than your brothers? if so then I learned something new.

Poor woman turned pale it scared her so much. Plus my dog was trying to tear through the door to get to her. I guess she just couldn't take the country life.
