I guess the screw on suppressor would be better as far as cleaning goes, but Man, I like the concept of an integrated suppressor.

Randy, you might try "One Second After"; kind of like an updated "Alas Babylon".

Great book. I listened to the audio version a while back and loved it.

It gives a pretty good insight as to how people would react in a catastrophic situation. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Sounds like a nice kit JJ! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I just hope I am not too late to the game. My dealer has them listed on their website for preorder for a decent price. I am hoping I can go into the store Monday and reserve one.

Now, I just need to get a rabbit assassin patch made.

Day by Day Armageddon is a good end of days book if you don't mind a bit of the undead in your reading.

I prefer my undead to be "The Walking Dead". <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I will put that on my list Tom, thanks.

I've read a little of that book JJ. Seems like it might not be to bad.

Back to integral suppressors, I found this
http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2011/02/17/aac-integral-suppressed-ruger-1022/

and it looks that it may actually be easier to get apart than a screw on, the "Supressor" stays in place and only the shroud comes off, or am I missing something here as far as getting it apart for cleaning?

Nite Tom, Peace and rest to you and the General and all your families. May all the knives you have ever wanted be Busses and may they never grow dull.

That looks easy enough to clean except if you plan to soak it in solvent. I guess you could just prop the rifle up with the suppressor part in a cup of solvent. I can't justify going through the tax stamp process again or spending the extra money on a setup like that when I can just swap my sparrow between the 22/45 and the 10/22.
