Yeah, I have the same thoughts. I haven't priced getting the barrel threaded here. I found a few online, but I am not sending the barrel off, so that is not an option. I know there is one guy at least in town who threads barrels. And the smith at impactguns may do it as well. He is a good guy, and may hook me up with a deal.

I think this version of the 10/22 might be one of their better versions from the original, it feels no different to me in hand than my standard model other than the weight, fiber optic sights would be nice though.

I've already got a wishlist full of upgrades and accessories on Brownells for it.

I'm glad you told me about it last night. I would hate to miss out on it and have to wait for Ruger to catch up with demand.

With what you and others have planned for it to do i think it will make a nice pack rifle or truck gun to have a round when you need more than a sidearm.

I decided against the banana mag and am looking at this instead.
