I can't recall ever mowing grass this early. Guess it's gonna be a long spring and summer.

We really didn't have a winter here, didn't get any snow and very few sub-freezing days.

I am watering with a hose. If I turn the sprinkler system on it will probably get cold enough to damage it. Mormally we get snow well into May. I have a feeling Spring is here to stay though. Maybe if we get some rain I can get my lawn back to normal.

Not much in the way of mountains, compared to what MB has out there.

Mountains are Mountains. The biggest difference is altitude. Steep is steep is just a bit harder to breath at 12,000 feet than 4,000 feet.

I've lived here my whole life. Wish I was in a position to move, but financially I really can't go anywhere right now.

I've been on Mount Mitchell several times, but Grandfather Mountain is my favorite. I go to a photographers conference there every fall.
