Cool! I'm anxious to hear if it holds zero like it should.

Are you talking about after takedown and reassembly?

I can tell that it does so far. I have put 300+ rounds through it after zeroing the scope and it has been broken down at least twenty times during and returns to zero every time.

Yeah, that's what I was wondering about. Seems like it would be a weak link, but maybe Ruger's got that figured out.

Did you look at the pics of the adjustable attachment point? It doesn't wiggle one bit no matter how hard you torque on it. The iron sights aren't an issue either as they are all on the barrel assembly.

I haven't seen any up close pics of the assembly point. I'll look at one next time I'm at the fun store.

I missed your post JJ. That looks like a perfect option.

Do you mean this one?

I just measured the inside of my stock and it'll fit. Will be tight, but should fit. I have a dremel if it doesn't. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Yep thats the one I was refering to. In a polymer stock there is almost no change of yanking that one through the forearm.

Todd, look at the pics I post in the outdoor forum here.

I see now! Very simple but well made, it so appears.

I never have figured out my 10/22 issues. Extractor is fine, so I'm thinking I need to brush out the chamber next. Everything is lubed and cleaned, so I don't think the chamber should be dirty enough to cause it to stick, but for some reason the empty rounds aren't ejecting right.

I'm about ready to pull the action off and soak it in a cup of gunscrubber

It couldn't hurt Todd. I just took apart one of my pump shotguns and gave it a serious cleaning and that thing is running like a top again.

Here's a $12 fix a friend of mine used on his old 10/22. Works great now.

I also recently switched to a different lubricant. I have used CLP and Rem oil. I changed to Slip 2000 and so far I'm liking it.

I saw the Slip 2000 at the gun store on base today for the first time. I have been wondering how it works. I'll give it a try when my rem oil runs out.

I usually use Rem oil, never had a problem. All my other guns run fine, but this one is getting on my nerves. Cost me several squirrels this season, after it failed to extract and I didn't catch it.
