Check out filthy 14. Its an AR that they ran for 49 thousand rounds without cleaning and using only slip 2000. It was done by Pat Rodgers at EAG Tactical.

Its thicker, stays in place much better and is still nice and slick.

I'm gonna hunt with my pistol next year, at least it's reliable.

I shelved my 10/22. I usually hunt with my CZ 452. Thats the most accurate 22 rifle I have owned or shot.

I just read about Filthy 14. That is ridiculous in a good way. I guess I should get some Slip 2000 before the Rem Oil runs out.

I'm gonna find me a bolt action for next year and trick out my 10/22. I've been thinking about it for a while. I've got a .17 HMR bolt gun that's just too much for our squirrels, but if I take headshots and shoot solid bullets it may be ok.

Hunting with a pistol is more difficult, but it is fun as hell. I actually low crawled some rabbits last year and popped up on them. No, I didn't get head shots. That is too hard for me while shooting at a startled rabbit. but, I put them down and into a pot.

and what it will do. 5 rounds one flyer way under an inch at 50 yards with cheap ammo. It will stay in an inch at 100 yards if i do my part with good ammo.

What kind of bipod is that? I am looking at the Harris Ultralight 6-9"

Thats a Harris bipod. I don't remember what the length is probably 6-9.

I like it a lot. I have 4 different Harris bipods in various configurations.
