Ha ha, Randy, it would be like trying to pee against the wind and expecting not to get wet shooting an elephant with a .38 <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> good one!
Dogs, unfortunately is that the system we have to work with. Hunting rifles have a whole different applicable law then sidearms.
Every five years we have to do a competency certificate that evaluates whether one understands the applicable law and is "stable" enough to own a sidearm. A lot of red tape to go through. I was VERY surprised to get the call today because....I kind of forgot about it after three years.
