I feel for your whole congregation.
Sometimes doing the right thing is so much more difficult that doing nothing.
Even though I am a non-believer I do have a great deal of respect for those that do believe (fanatics aside of course)
A church is built on a foundation of a strong congregation.
A pastor is a pillar that joins the foundation and church together.
It seems like your pillar is broken and needs to be repaired or replaced

Same shape of what we (around here anyway) call a Kaiser blade. But around here we only sharpen the hook side of the blade.

They don't soak you Americans as bad as they do us Canadians

Oh I forgot to say, a Kaiser blade is A LOT bigger! I've used one and they do a pretty good job on briars and smaller underbrush.
