As we grow older, we gravitate toward the things of our youth, mainly the items that brought us pleasure or happiness or just memories we want to retain.

Hehe, I get lucky once in a while. Last time was when I married Patty! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Over the years Patty has bought me several Case Slip joints. They nice knives, but I have a tendency to be rough on my knives at times and have broken more than one slip joint. That is why I gravitate toward the single blade lock backs. AND I have had more than one slip joint close on my fingers or hand. Doesn't feel good.

I used to carry nothing but slipjoints. Haven't done that in about 15 years
