My daughter has her prom tomorrow night just hoping it lets her get there without getting wet, Oh and i get to meet her date when i get home from the gun show tomorrow afternoon.

That sounds like an ideal time to meet your daughters date.

I do not care for the young man she is going with but the wife is driving them to prom and after prom and staying to help out with the afterprom , he has refused to meet me over the last year but he had no choice for prom unless he comes in and shakes my hand and looks me in the eye she will go by herself, my daughters girlfriends have him scared to death on meeting me. i figure taking off a 45 and 9mm and a couple of knives and what ever i pick up at the show should make my point without saying to much.

I never had a problem meeting a girls father. I couldn't let my daughter date someone I had never met. I have to know what they look like, what they drive and where they live. I am not a trusting soul. Sounds like you have a solid plan with your wife keeping a close eye to enforce the rules.

I was fine til I mowed my lawn the other day. Ever since, it's been allergy city!

I always wanted to meet my daughter's dates before they went out. It wasn't a problem til she started driving. But she's got a good head on her shoulders, and always made good decisions.

If they way she is now is any indication. When my daughter is a teenager she will have the exact opposite of good judgement.

Mine grew up quick. She went to live with her mother when she was 15, and they fought like cats and dogs. She finally saw that I usually am right, at least when I'm telling her what she should or shouldn't do.
