Then again it depends on your perspect. I usually buy ammo in moderate amounts. So a few cents a round equates to a major price increase to me.

In this case it went up about a nickel a round.

I guess not being an regular shooter I look at the dollars more than per round or quantity. so ill usually get whatever I can get for x dollars. so i would probably try to spend couple hundred on .45 and hundred or so on .38. something like 1/2 target plinking and 1/2 on a couple different types of defensive type ammo. no particulars as to brands or makes for either just yet.

mostly just trying to have some extra ammo around for the guns I shoot the most.

Hey Dogs, I need to get some more ammo as well. Just haven't gotten around to it.

If I shoot in the Glock shoot next weekend I'll need about 200 rounds or so. I'll need to repenish those at least.

I'd like to order a thousand rounds from Georgia Arms, I've shot that before and I really liked it.

I probably still have 800 rounds of 9mm. Problem it is mostly all lead reloads.

Georgia Arms is reloads, but they're good. A good friend of mine used to order 5k at a time from them, but he shot quite a bit more than I do.

Sorry I'm slow getting back to you, just finished up my FREE ribs!

Every year our E911 coordinator provides "Goodies" for all the Dispatchers that are in the county. Second night it was a veggie tray. Then homemade cookies, then single serve apple pie, and last night was BBQ ribs! First night was Monday and I didn't work so I don't know what she did. Tonight was a copy of the local paper with all our pictures and a short bio along with pen, pencil, and a E911 T-Shirt.

Carol, the coordinator made the cookies and pie herself. She also paid for the T-shirts.

In the bag tonight with my stuff in it she also included a card where she said that I am the only dispatcher that has thanked her for what she did for us AND for her work as the coordinator. That was nice of her.

*** Oh I forgot to say this is for National Publlic Safety Tele-communicators week! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

The Church where my parents go bought a house that sets about 100 feet from the church about 3 years ago with the thoughts of tearing it down. Well someone said they should rent it. They did. Yesterday I helped my Dad move a refrigerator out of there (the only thing was looked even half way salvageable). Seems the renters were there one day and gone the next. Talk about a place being trashed. I wouldn't let my dog live there, let along people. It was truly THAT bad.

Anyway, I found a new molle M4 two magazine pouch that I kiped (anything left in the house will belong to the the contractor that tears it down in a couple weeks) I think that I can make use of it for something. It's in the acu pattern but hey, who cares, it was free!

If you haven't read this, I think this is possibly the best obituary that I've ever read.

Michael "Flathead" Blanchard
Blanchard, Michael "Flathead"
1944 ~ 2012
A Celebration of the life of Michael "Flathead" Blanchard will be held on April 14th, 3 pm 8160 Rosemary St, Commerce City. Weary of reading obituaries noting someone's courageous battle with death, Mike wanted it known that he died as a result of being stubborn, refusing to follow doctors' orders and raising hell for more than six decades. He enjoyed booze, guns, cars and younger women until the day he died.
Mike was born July 1944 in Colorado to Clyde and Ethel Blanchard. A community activist, he is noted for saving the Dr. Justina Ford house from demolition and defending those who could not defend themselves. He was a Republican delegate, life member of the NRA, founder and President of the Dead Cats MC. He loved music.
Mike was preceded in death by Clyde and Ethel Blanchard, survived by his beloved sons Mike and Chopper, former wife Jane Transue, brother Stephen Blanchard (Susan), Uncle Don and Aunt Cynthia Blanchard(his favorite); Uncle Dill and Aunt Dot, cousins and nephews, Baba Yaga can kiss his butt. So many of his childhood friends that weren't killed in Vietnam went on to become criminals, prostitutes and/or Democrats. He asks that you stop by and re-tell the stories he can no longer tell. As the Celebration will contain Adult material we respectfully ask that no children under 18 attend.
