That is kind of you Skunk!

Yep, I sure do love my Res-C choppers. Other than the Rodent 9, I have gotten rid of my other non-res-c choppers, unless you call an NMSFNO a chopper, in which case I guess I have a few more.

All I need now is the BR and SBR. Oh, and a 9-11 .

Sounds like you are well on your way to making sure you never run out of wood on your camping trips! (oh and I'm sure The Busse Brothers love you)!

Ha. Well the funny thing is, my collection is so small compared to most HOGs, at least the ones that post on Bladeforums. I don't know if they are all loaded, or of they have serious credit card debt. To be honest, I've probably sold more blades than I've owned. It's fun to own an NMFBM, but really not worth it IMO when the DF & B-11 are more usable and a great deal cheaper.

I think I have 23 blades from Busse & Kin. To be honest, I think that is pretty ridiculous, but some of my Hog buddies have 40-100. It's nuts.

I plan on trimming my collection down to 6 of my favorite, but I'll probably end up at 9 or 12.

Well, way I look at it is if you have enough money to pay all your bills, PLUS enough left over buy food and entertainment and other incidentals, and STILL have enough go "Splurge", why not, as long as you can still put some money back for a rainy day, and they WILL happen.

I have gotten really lucky (or maybe I'm just patient,) considering most of my blades were bought way after the production runs at, or even below msrp.

Yeah. I do have some money aside for a rainy day, but not enough since I have to buy a car now and may even be moving into a house in NH. That's one reason why I may be purging my collection soon.

Yup, a lot of times Dogs will sell you one at their price or below, just because you're part of the pack. The Brotherhood, the camaraderie is what keeps us all together as a pack.

My stepson has to drive from Southeast Missouri to Houston Tx (700 miles one way) twice a month for work. He has a 2009 Tahoe, and just bought a Chev Sonic for the gas mileage. Not a bad little car.

Cool. I'll have to look into that model. Gas mileage is important.

He said it is listed as getting 38mpg on the road. Guess well find out when he gets back this coming Tuesday. He leaves from here on a Monday, and returns the Tuesday of the next week and is home until the following Monday when he starts it all over again. Oh he works for the UP railroad and is an electronic Technician Inspector, a job he just tested for and got about 3 weeks ago. So far he likes it, except for the drive.

Well the day shift is starting to roll in so I guess I had better get things ready. Gotta make the coffee ya know (someone else can supply the donuts)!

Peace and rest to you and all those you care about. Good luck in your new job and may your move be painless and you find just what you are looking for.
