I am thinking about selling the lake house i inherited from my grandad to speed up the development of the project. The family won't be happy, but ... I kind of wondered about that. I know about wanting to keep something Gramps gave you, and not wanting to make the family unhappy. BUT ultimately, It's your life to live the way that you think is best FOR YOU. Tough decision, but that's just the way of life. IF you live it for someone else, usually it won't work out, UNLESS it is YOU that picked that other person to live with/for. Exactly. But, I can't maintain three properties for myself. i can always rent out the texas spot, but I would rather just sell it.

Beautiful country JJ. How far is the nearest town? I am guessing not all that far. About 30 miles. They have a small grocery store, gas station, feed store and a bait and tackle from what I remember. The post office is only open two days a week though.

Three? It would I personally think to sell it. Rental property is the pits, at least in Missouri. The Renters have more rights than the Landlords. I CAN see providing renter protection, but I think it goes to far a lot of times.

I am renting my Louisiana property out now. My brother-in-law takes care of it. A good friend is renting it, so I have had no issues the last four years. and, They know I will take it over when I am done traveling.

Hey JJ, I'm thinking about a baldric rig for my BWM, with just a simple piece of leather sewn on the back for belt wear If I wanted to use it that way, MAYBE with the bottom of the back strap with a couple snaps for easy on easy off. How's something like that sound to you" Useful or just go with the belt wear?
