I got Novak style trijicon sight installed for $80<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> the smith
Did a great job. I only have him the slide but when I put it together and shot it
I was hitting a 4inch steel plate at 25 feet every round.

A friend of mine is suggesting that if i want a good full size 1911 to buy the Rock Island Tactical and have him replace the guts with Ed Brown parts, the reviews on the gun itself are impressive for under 500.
