They were impressive reviews for agun under 500. in a 1911.

True. I still think I got a fine deal on my Springfield. Looked like it had been shot though I bought it "used." (My FFL dealer said the same thing) I think I paid $450 for mine out the door.

4" Commander I believe

I have the Kimber pro carry 2 in the comander size . i am just looking to get a full size and my gunsmith swears that if we build one using the RIA frame slide and barrel and using Ed Brown parts that it will shoot and handle like the 1500 rang stuff does.

That kinda what i am thinking like i said last night once you get the gun you can do what you can afford over a period of time if you have to or all at once if the money is there.
