hey ahve a few but its usually stuff I can get on most stores. We have a nice gunshop that has a ton of knives. But the prices are crazy. Its a Ekred drugstore turned gunshop and its probably one of the biggest gun shops in the US. Great if you want something right now and don't mind paying a premium and bad service.

Looking at the price of the Rodent 9 $159 looks like a good price for the 9-11. I am hoping thats the target price.

Normally we can find decent deals on most of the top folders and some pricy ones to and recently a few custom makers have been doing the show, Blind horse, Cross knives and our Busse group. But the summer shows are a little mor slimmer pickens.

on a heavy chopper what handle material do ya'll like most? Really depends on the chopper. My DF is fine but I do feel like it vibrates more than the micarta in my chopweiler. My BWM feels just fine in the hand--probably my favorite so far but I haven't had the chance to do extended chopping with it yet, so I really can't say. I have a Ranger 9 with a Busse blank and micarta grips--great for chopping as well. I'm set to get a Mastiff (with a bit of luck) and then I think with the 9-11, I will be good and set for large blades. May need to get rid of one or two (Rodent 9 and/or M9--if SF45ACP let's me hammer on his Rodent 9 a bit that might help me decide what I'm keeping ). With the 9-11, I'm hoping to have another big Res-C chopper to compare the DF to along with the big micartas.

which would you buy if they were priced the same? the rodent9 or the 911 Without good reviews of use from either blade, it's hard to say. ESPECIALLY since the 911 hasn't been released yet That said, if they were priced the same, I'd probably go with the Rodent 9

I have held the rodent 9 and there is nothing bad to say about it, nice and light in the hand with good control, i was tempted but passed. the 911 when it comes out will be my biggest blade from the yard and will fit in just fine i think.
