just would seen you blame the person and not the gun. can't imagine similar reoccurring incidents but who knows...
so far I'm 2 for 2 on this ranges ban list. no fiveseven and no pistol grip shotguns. don't even plan to keep the pg on my 500 but I'm done going to that particular range anyway.

I have not used the M-4. The Super 90 rocks though. Thats the m-4's granddaddy.

As for a regular pistol grip only gun. If I owned an indoor range i wouldn't allow them. To much liabilty. No way to really aim one. They are a CQB kinda thing only.

was told 5.7 ammo can tear up the backstop. theres some pics from 5.7 on steel that was also shot by other pistol ammo and your could see some dimples the 5.7 left.
guess I since I can't imagine what somebody could've done extraordinarily wrong with a pg shotgun the choice doesn't quite make sense. and I'm assuming is pg only and not stocks with a pg. and the sign says don't even bring them in the building...
and the gun bans arent the main reason im not going to this range anymore though. just hoping I'll find a better range.

do you use the 5.7 rounds loaded with hornady V-MAX? the V-MAX is made to fragment rapidly upon impact. it was made as a light skinned varmit round.

There are plenty of ranges that have stupid rules. One here claims no one can safely draw and fire from a holster. I told them to pound sand. I have been doing it professionally for 20 years.

I use both the v-max and the lead free hollow points when I shoot. have found a preference to either just yet.
its been a minute but I think in those pics with the dimples you could see blue residue in the center of the dimples from tips. wasn't .223 craters but there was a sign something moved the steel. so I don't blame the range for banning 5.7. but that cut my trigger time with the fsn down to zilch.
