Thanks Randy. I got a great deal on that B-11. It came with the Mashed Cat sheath you see on the top right.

I sent a pm to jeff and he made the sheath to the specs I described and then some. I really like how he adds the paracord to the sheaths. its a really nice touch.

As much as I have come to love Jeff's work, all of my recent Kydex has come from a HOG friend. He just starting bending and is really good, plus it's a good deal cheaper than any of the other makers and I could use the extra money!
I agree that it's the details that make the difference, and the fact that Jeff will make your sheath exactly to your specs!

Yeah it is great. But I do wish I could find the perfect sheath at a cheaper price. but you get what you pay for. and you almost never have to send the knife to jeff since he already has alot of the models in the shop to use are guides. I have a hard time with the thought of just getting the expensive knife and then shipping to someone for a couple weeks or months while they do the work.

Howdy yard. Been a while, just wanted to drop in and say enjoy the weekend. I am heading of for night shift. This is me in my freezer suite. Close to freezing, but as long as one is active the suite works great. Top left pocket is the Spyderco Atlantic salt and Swamp Rat Swamp Warden around the neck under the jacket. ![[Linked Image from i1065.photobucket.com]](http://i1065.photobucket.com/albums/u388/geronki3/2012/DSCN1273.jpg)

There are more Kydex benders than Leather Masters. I am NOT saying bending Kydex and getting a really nice product is easy, just easier than carving and gluing/sewing leather. Also Kydex usually has a faster turn around time. IF they have the blade you want a knife for, a Kydex sheath can be made a lot faster (at least I think most of the time) than a leather one can. I have both, and believe that there is a place for both types. IF you want to just toss a blade your vehicle and forget about it, or your pack, or whatever, Kydex is probably the best option. It won't draw moisture nor will it rot or dry out like leather will. Also If you are going into a wet environment Kydex will probably be better.
