Yeah, and could you imagine how cold it would be if he was in North Africa! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I mean hey, wouldn't North Africa logically be colder than South Africa? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Haha I feel like a giant orange, the problem is the wind chill on site. We work between two buildings and a air vent so there is a downdraft as well. That and when one is not active, then it becomes cold. With the suite one can work close to freezing or under that because it reflects body heat back onto you. Or at least that is the way I was told it works.

I can still wear other clothes underneath it. Like a thermal flees/fleece (spelling?) etc. if I get really cold.

But, I do get cold....fast, much faster then my fellow workers.

I took a thermostat with me and it said it was around 8 degrees Celsius (around 11pm) and that night it went under dew point so one could see your breath, estimate was about 4 degrees Celsius, but inside the suit it was a nice 22 degrees Celsius. Sorry, to lazy to do the math to Fahrenheit now.

That would be 39degrees for us. Yup, that's a bit cold!

sounds like you need some of those "hot hands" that deer hunters take with them to keep their hands and feet and any place you put them warm.

depends how tight his gloves and boots are. most of the time they are fine in gloves siting on the back of the hands lets you grab things. Has he tried underarmour coldgear compression clothing. when I worked construction one winter it helped a ton.
