My personal kit is an E-PL2 Olympus.

I have a few kits at work. A Canon EOS 1D X with many lenses and a Canon 7D with lenses.

nice
the 1dx is quite the camera

I use the 7D more than the 1D X. Lighter.

I am very close to pulling the trigger on the new Pany TS4. My buddy has one and I plan to play with it next time I see him. If I like it as much as I like the specs and reviews, I will order one.

I've had bad experiences with the multipliers. I never order them through our supply office. A lot of other Marine photogs love them since they are light and save you from carrying extra lens around though.

Panasonic has announced the DMC-TS4 (FT4 outside North America), the latest in its rugged series of compact cameras. The TS4 gains an altimeter, compass and barometer in addition to the GPS that appeared in the TS3. The camera comes with a DVD of maps that can be loaded onto the camera, helping the camera add better location data to its pictures' EXIF. Beyond this it's a pretty familiar affair, with a 12MP CCD capable of 1080p video housed in Panasonic's familiar industrial-looking tough-camera body and a 4.6x 28-128mm equivalent zoom.

is that a camera or a sunnto watch? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Tax dollars pay for most of mine. But, my personal kit has a few grand in it.

Believe me, I have already read every spec and review on this thing. I am all over it if it performs for me.

I like the micro four thirds format for personal use. Great little cameras and they don't cost an arm and a leg. Smaller package with awesome performance. That's my advice, sir.
