Usually those that know me will call ahead. This was neighbors needing help and asking for favors. I also tend to get the occasional person looking for help when they see a patrol car in the driveway.

And I'm not a very hospitable person to unexpected visitors either. They're usually met at the door with a very pissed off dog snarling behind me and my Glock in my other hand behind the door.
