Older guys won't advertise they're cops, but some of the younger guys haven't gotten there yet. I was thinking the same. It´s not always smart to advertise your occupation but there is a healthy attitude in that shirt! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Unfortunately, most of the folks we deal with would say that saying is NOT true! And Unfortunately, a lot of the bosses think the same thing. Especially when our bosses (here also) think that, it really makes me to think about doing something else! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/barf.gif" alt="" />

I was a cop for three years and never wanted to be one. Only reason I was is because the Police Chief in the town where I live signed me up for the Academy and the department paid the Tuition. I found out about it when he told me my school date.
I am perfectly satisfied to be a dispatcher.

We don´t have dipatchers. We have only the 911 (here 112) calling centers, and they are decreasing those too!

People, the "Population" are famous for going along with the crowd. Or if they don't, those that do not go along are the minority. BUT many times those that do not go along are the MAJORITY but just doesn't say anything, unlike the minority.
