serious question...what is a good amount to give to a good but not close friend for a baby shower? arwe you looking to give a gift or cash? or the in the middle a gift card? $50 would be fair. that sounds generous and right. +1 I asked my wife and that was her suggestion.

if you are wanting to do cash or a card $50 is good and will be very helpful to them, but you can get a nice $30-$40 gift that they will appericeate just as much.
