I would have to do a comparison between the BWM and 911 to see which one would get the win. IF the 911 was close in chopping ability to the BWM it would probably get the nod due to it's lighter weight.

Mudders are my favorite .... only for a little or medium blade. I have S5, SS4 and Mud Puppy LE is the new entry. If I can choose one of this I'd think I choose the SS4 is a middle way. I love the S5 lenght, the SS4 shape and choil, the Muppy point and steel.

When you can .... I'd like to see your modified version of the WD I'll try. But is actually very simple. The WarDog has not exactly square corners on the butt end of the handle, but sort of. All I did was use a belt sander to make the end of the handle rounded like a ball. The choil is the same shape, I only made it long enough to fit my finger without touching the sharpened edge. Someone (I can't remember who) rounded the Butt of theirs and I just did the same thing. But I then made the choil large enough to fit my fat finger.

For my personal budget the great Busse are so expensive so I prefer the Scrap one. Also for lighter handle I prefer the Scrap to the Swamp

I can't actually explain why but the mudder grips on the S5 just does not feel balanced the way I like, that is why I think I favor the Wardog. Yet I also like the overall blade shape and size over the S5.

Two men were walking through the woods and found this real deep hole. One man picked up a rock and tossed it into the hole and listened for the rock to hit bottom. Nothing.
He turned to the other guy and said, “That must be a deep hole … let’s throw a bigger rock in there and listen for it to hit bottom.” They found a bigger rock and both picked it up and dropped it in. They listened for some time and … nothing.
Again, they agreed that this must be one deep hole and maybe they should throw something even bigger into it. One man spotted a big log nearby. They picked it up, grunting and groaning, and threw it to the hole, listened intently … nothing.
All of a sudden, a goat came flying out of the woods, running like crazy, blew past the men and jumped into the hole. The men were astounded.
They walked on through the woods, and a little later met an old farmer who asked the men if they had seen a goat. One man told the farmer of the incredible incident they had just witnessed … they had just seen this goat fly out of the woods, and run and leap into the big hole. He asked the farmer if this could have been his goat.
The old farmer said “Naw, that can’t be my goat … he was chained to a big log.”

I was able to buy the Busse Combat at last years Blade thanks To Tom. Otherwise I would never own one. And the BWM, well you know the story of how I got that. Otherwise it would be way out of my price range. Yeah I like Dan't blades as well. To me they just seem more like actually using blades whereas the other two, especially Busse combat are collector pieces. Just my personal thoughts.

but for the choi you have sander the res c or you have sander the steel The Steel ONLY. I made the choil longer toward the point, not toward the handle. I ONLY sanded the butt end of the handle to make it a little round, but not to much. Go slow and easy. The handle material sands really nice and smooth.
