The Basic 10 would sounds like exactly the knife you would want. Because it is only .23" and not very tall, it is very fast in the hands. It would make for a great bush whacker / quasi-machete. Also, the FFG and thinner bleeding sharp edge makes it a decent chopper for its weight. It's lighter than many of my 6" knives, so you know that it would carry like a feather in the right sheath. I think you'd really love it.

But all in all, the BWM is likely a faster chopper, so as long as you like the handle and don't mind the extra weight, you've certainly got yourself a winner of a blade!

Yeah Sounds like the B10 would be fantastic! Oh Well, like you said I have a BWM that I SHOULD have for as long as I can remember what a knife is, which may not be all that much longer considering my advanced old age! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Well my relief is here, so it's time for me to boggie! I don't know If I will be back on or not, the Stepson and his wife, along with the Grand baby of course, are taking Patty out for Mothers day and I get to tag along.
