One of my bigger complaints is people have become far to dependant on us to fix their problems. The ones they create. Thats the majority of what I do anymore. Simple conflict resolution. Basic be a decent human being 101.

Amen MB. People don't want to solve their own problems anymore. They want to be told what to do. They NEED to be told what to do.

YUP,same here. You've got someone on your property that you don't want there, YOU tell them to leave.

If your neighbor's dog is bothering you, call the neighbor and ask them to put it up. Or go over and ask, nicely.

But NOOOOOOO! Instead we call the county, have them come out and go talk to the neighbor, who gets all ticked off at the caller, and then you've got a neighborhood feud going.

You could franchise the idea.....

People are to busy with their own little worlds to actually talk to their neighbors. That and everything revolves around what they need right now.

I would sell them for a dollar a pop. With some of the crazy stuff that comes out of peoples mouth I could make my hourly wage in a few minutes.

YUP, happens all the time. People don't think, cause THE GUMENT has told them they don't have to. Cradle to grave. They can take their cradle to grave and you know what they can do with it.

Maybe I'm to independant. I have never needed the .gov to tell me what to do. If I need you I will call. But it won't be for simple stuff that I'm just too lazy to handle.
