Not to bad, wasn't to busy tonight, but I got steamed a while ago. Saw a blurb on F&F about words that will get you tagged by the DHS goons (SOME of them anyway, not all).

Oh yeah? What do you mean? I think it's common knowledge that our gvt has supercomputers that collect as much communication data as possible looking for certain words/phrases.

I can't say much, but I have worked as a contractor for certain agencies. As you know, I am a data guy -- you'd be amazed at some of the data that is collected.

I knew about the proposed center. When I was in Japan in my "Secret Squirrel" job, I had liasons with NSA, CIA, and other alphabet agencies.

I know about "Trigger words", but what steams me is that some innocent words are included. Also did you know (Not sure exactly of the specifics) but the Government has supposedly all internet traffic going through some of their servers BEFORE actually getting to the internet, something about a hack or something. It's the stuff they are talking about that WILL YOUR COMPUTER be able to access the internet after July 1.

What I do know is that the big telecoms are working with the gvt, so really there is no limit to what they collect. That is why I use open DNS and Tor. Although Tor can be traced, it would take effort to do so. If you want to use the net securely, Tor is a start.

What scares me even more is the big corporations like Google, Facebook, et. al. Anything you've ever posted on Facebook, or used Google for is stored for eternity.

Don't get me wrong, I will fight to the death (Theirs or mine)ANYONE that tries to destroy our form of life (OK, Government). I DO applaud the desires of the Government to safeguard us, but I also know that many times "They" (the ones in power) go to far. They should let many of the decisions they make be made at a more local, a "Closer to the action" arena and by a person or persons who is there.

I cannot argue with that!

Yeah TO MUCH information is NOT a good thing. You can (If you look hard enough and WANT results YOU WANT) find them in the details if you look hard enough.
