Good thing is that I only have about 4 1/2 miles home. Long way if you have to swim it!

Todd, one thing I like in my Sony a350 is the battery. I've never needed a second one yet! If I have a fully charged battery, I'm good for about 1000 shots without flash, about 600 or so with flash. So I figure ~800 shot range. I'd say that's a decent amount of pictures! I don't remember numbers but at least one day with my camera. I tend to use the screen as a finder too. I shoot with Nikon DSLR's, they're pretty good about battery life.

Back when I worked for the paper, I'd shoot a whole week or more on one charge. But I did have an extra battery for that one.

Even a short WET ride isn't fun though Todd. BTW we got a 1/2 inch rain Monday night. Not near enough, but it will help some.

Morocco was very cool, enjoyed it alot. We got to spend last night in Madrid( connection/ layover of 24 hours) And I freaking love this place, I hope they remain stable ( lots of talk in the news over here about problems) so we can come back sometime
