Thats whats keeping me from getting it. $2500 is a chunk of change.

I think I could go a cheaper route since I don't need bluetooth. My problem is I really don't want to lose a hearing aid that runs $1500 to $2500 fighting some mope to get them in custody.

The same company that made mine sells a cheaper, but nearly identical at Costco. It is called the Future. ReSound is the company that makes them. The one I have has won tons of awards, and the Future has most of the same tech inside.


I haven't heard this clearly since I was hit by a truck nearly two decades ago. The impact from the windsheild hitting my head caused the hearing loss. This is my third hearing aid, and the only one I like wearing. The others I have had just made things louder and didn't seem to make them clearer.

Most of my hearing loss is in the high freq. range. This one makes my right ear, the bad one, hear better/clearer than my left, which has minor hearing loss.

You are not going to get a decent hearing device for less than $1000 unless your hearing loss is minor. Then, you can probably just deal with it anyway.

My hearing loss is mainly from a few too many flashbangs and gun fire with little or no hearing protection.

My friend bought the same one you have and he like sit a lot. I have great hearing on one side and the other misses a lot of the normal frequeny but still picks up some stuff that I'm not supposed to be able to hear.

The medical unit on Hill Air Force base tried to order the flesh colored one, but I told them I will not wear something that looks like a tumor behind my ear. That comment convinced them to order black.

I am sure explosives have played some part in the left ear's minor loss, but I have been pretty protective of my ears since I initially lost hearing. I wish I would have been warned more, or headed the warnings more.

You probably already knew about the dangers JJ, but like most of just ignored them for WAY to long.
