Evening dogs! Our gas here, when I gassed up today, was at $3.28/gallon. That's the cheapest I've seen it around here in a long time.

I'm getting around 40-42 mpg on mine, just tooling around town.

I keep telling myself I;m saving money with the bike. Its not true but If I say it enough times it sounds good.

I am saving with mine. Today was the first time in two weeks that my truck has been out of the drive. I usually go through about $80 or so in gas every two weeks, and now I'm down to less than $30 every two weeks. And that's with a lot of recreational riding too.

If you say something enough YOU begin and come to believe it as true.

I have a take home so if you add in the montly payments I'm losing cash. But the recreational value and stress relief is totally worth it to me.

Stress relief, piece of mind is worth more than money, although we sometimes have a hard time remembering that.

There are three things that put me in a happy place nearly every time. Kayaking on a glassy smooth mountain lake, Being in the bachcountry for a few days and a nice motorcycle ride. The MC ride is the fastest and easiest way and requires no planning and the trip does the trick. Anything else is a bonus.
