The worst part was putting aside the grief of his family and my own to convince the wife to sign the papers for tissue donation. She was stubborn. I can completely understand her feelings in this. But at least as one expires one can be allowed to continue, and THAT means something. We will NEVER know the reason for this, but out of tragedy, some good will come. Knowing that though will not ease the loss, perhaps make it bearable, for all of you.
