Don't know about the Swamp, but we're still acting a little strange here.

I'm registered with the Swamp, but never go there. Just like it here in the Yard.

I've probably already said, but I am old and forgetful so please cut me some slack.
I took the night off cause the puppy is sick and it is really stressing Patty out.
ANYWAY, the found the (a)tumor on her parathyroid gland (at least on one, maybe more when the do the surgery). This is the root cause of a lot of her problems, you would not dream what this grain of rice size gland (there are 4) can cause. IF you are curious and to see the bad things look up "Hyper Parathyroid Disease"
It can cause nerve problems, bad temper, nausea, lack of interest in anything and a host of other problems. BUT we go to St. Louis to consult with the physician on the 23rd prior to the surgery. No one around here is qualified to perform that kind of surgery and all the docs recommend we go to Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, and we are.
So hopefully by the end of August at the latest she will be all patched up and we will just have to wait for the remaining glands to get her stabilized which they are telling us can take from 1-3 maybe 4 months to finally get back to normal. That plus her vitamin D level being almost non measurable has let to a lot of problems the will take care of the majority of her problems. Then they can start working on her Kidneys and other areas.
And with this lengthy post I am gonna hit the sack.
Peace and rest to you and all those you know love and care for. Watch your backs and watch out for those who DON'T watch out for you.

Loving the bike! I've already put nearly 3000 miles on it in less than two months. My truck is feeling neglected. It hasn't been out of the drive in three weeks. I know what you mean. I just bought a dr650 to commute so I don't put the miles on my harley. I took it apart already to upgrade the carb and stuff and its killing me to drive my truck. Especially in our traffic! I should be back on the road with it by next week. Hopefully the carb tuning will go smoothly
